    The Toronto Sohrae Youth Orchestra final concert will feature some talented soloists on April 25, 2026, at Glenn Gould Studio. For ticket information, please contact us.

    Tony Park 박준엽 on Violin

    Tony will perform the Saint-Saëns Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso with the symphonic orchestra.

    Sea Kweon 권세아 on Viola

    Leo, Seoyoung, and Sea will perform Bartòk’s Romanian Folk Dances with the string ensemble.

Toronto Sohrae Youth Orchestra

For over 25 years, the Toronto Sohrae Youth Orchestra has performed in community events and concert halls across the GTA including George Weston Recital Hall and Glenn Gould Studio.

Who can join?

  • Music students who are already somewhat proficient on an orchestral instrument. Audition required.
  • Youth ages 10 to 23.
  • Must bring own instrument: violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, french horn, trombone, or tuba.
Youth playing violin, flute, cello, clarinet, and trumpet together in the same room.

What do we do?

  • Weekly rehearsals. Tutti and sectionals.
  • Chamber ensemble opportunities.
  • Concerto competition opportunities.
  • Camp day.
  • Auditions in September, Winter concert in December, Final concert in April.
